EINREICHUNG:
Die Kompositionen sind in Partiturform elektronisch als PDF per E-Mail-Anhang einzureichen. Das Deckblatt der Partitur muss mit dem Titel des Stückes versehen sein. Die Partitur muss anonymisiert sein! Der Name der Komponistin/des Komponisten, oder sonstige Hinweise auf die Identität des Urhebers, dürfen auf der Partitur nicht aufscheinen. Um die Arbeit der Jury zu erleichtern, wird gebeten – nach Möglichkeit – eine Aufnahme (Midi Realisation) in MP3-Format mitzusenden.
Die PDF/MP3-Dateien werden vom Musikforum anonym und nummeriert, an die Juroren weitergeleitet.
Zusätzlich ist dem E-Mail das ausgefüllte und unterschriebene Anmeldeformular sowie eine Biografie anzuhängen.
Alle Unterlagen sind bis spätestens 15. März 2024 per E-Mail mit dem Betreff „Gustav Mahler Kompositionspreis 2024“
an office@musikforum.at zu senden.
Bitte beachten sie, dass nur vollständige Einreichungen der Jury vorgelegt werden!
Die Komponistinnen und Komponisten der ausgewählten Werke verpflichten sich, bei der Uraufführung anwesend zu sein (Reise- und Aufenthaltskosten werden bis zu max. 250 Euro vom Musikforum übernommen).
Die eingesandten Werke dürfen zum Einreichungstermin und bis zum Zeitpunkt des Preisträgerkonzertes am 12. Juli 2024 weder veröffentlicht noch uraufgeführt worden sein.
Die Urheber stellen das Notenmaterial unentgeltlich und rechtzeitig zur Verfügung. Pro Teilnehmerin bzw. Teilnehmer darf nur ein Werk eingereicht werden.

SUBMISSION:
The compositions are to be submitted in electronic form (PDF of the full score), sent as an e-mail attachment to office@musikforum.at along with the signed application form and composer’s biography. Please note, that NO indication to the identity of the composer may appear on the scores’ PDF file. The cover page of the score must indicate the title of the composition.
To make the jury’s work easier, you may additionally submit a MIDI recording of the composition. This is considered extremely helpful, but not a requirement.
PDF/MP3 files will be forwarded to the jury anonymized.
The PDF-scores and all additional documents are to be sent by e-mail, titled
„Gustav Mahler Kompositionspreis 2024“, before 15th March 2024 to office@musikforum.at.
Please note that incomplete submissions cannot be considered.
The composers of the awarded pieces commit to be present at the premiere of their work (travel and accommodation expenses up to EUR 250 will be reimbursed by the Musikforum Viktring-Klagenfurt).
The submitted pieces may not be publicly performed or published before the premiere in Klagenfurt on July 12th, 2024.
The composer provides the sheet music to Musikforum Viktring-Klagenfurt on time and free of charge. Each participant can submit only one composition.
